Story
Evariki ThalaVanchadu deals with how a well known, straight forward and honest lawyer Krishna Mohan (Suriya) takes on a politically well influenced and a rich guy Kamesh (Vinay Rai) who runs a gang of people who trap women, take explicit videos of them, threatens them into doing whatever he says and if they don't agree, he will kill them.

Artiste Performances
Suriya is outstanding in his role. He is subtle in first half but he gives a stellar performance in second half. The way he portrays emotions is impressive. He carries the whole movie on his shoulders.

Priyanka Mohan as Krishna's love interest is cute. She gets a crucial role and delivers a solid performance. She will move the audience into tears with her performance in a crucial scene.

Vinay Rai as antagonist is menacing. He gives a great performance. Satyaraj and Saranya as Krishna's parents provide few laughs and bring emotional depth to the proceedings.

Rest of the cast are Ok.

Analysis
Suriya recently has done some hard hitting subjects like Aakasam Nee Hadhura and Jai Bhim. He is back with another strong and hard hitting subject with a much needed message.

Movie starts of with introducing Suriya killing people. Then story moves to flashback introducing Suriya in past, his village and family. Most of the first half is narrated in a commercial format with Suriya and Priyanka's love track, couple of songs and a fight scene.

Director has taken his time to come to the actual plot point. Pacing is poor in first half which might bore you for a while. Things start getting on track once the movie reaches mid way of the first half. Conflict point is established and proceedings start to pick up the pace.

Pre-Interval to Interval is a complete Mass block. Suriya saves a woman from goons; this action episode is one of the highlights. Suriya and Vinay challenge each other, which creates a tension, making it a solid and fan pleasing interval block.

Second half is very engaging compared to first half. The movie's complete emotional strength falls here, which comes at the right time and leaves a strong impact.

There is scene with Priyanka mohan which will hit you hard and disturb you in a thought provoking way. Her performance in this scene is surely her best and will move the audience emotionally.

Right after this scene, Suriya makes a video with Priyanka which is whistle worthy and one of the highlights in the movie.

Climax scene too is yet another major plus to the movie. Action episode is shot very well and the scene followed by that is amazing. Suriya bringing the family members of the culprits and letting their family punish them is shown in a terrific and mass appealing way, yet another whistle worthy sequence in the movie.

Ending of the movie could have been a little better as it feels abrupt with an end card saying "Krishna Mohan will be Back".

Dialogues are extremely well written. Few of them are very relatable and will provoke a thought in everyone.

Songs by Imman are good but the BGM is extraordinary. It elevates both action and emotional sequences perfectly. The visuals and Production values are great. Editing could have been better.

(MY) Final Word
Evariki Thalavanchadu (ET) deals with a sensitive yet a strong message to be told. Director Pandiraj does a great work in presenting it in a hard-hitting way but the slow pacing in the first half played a spoilsport. Leaving the slow narration in the first half, the movie succeeds in delivering the message impactfully. On a Whole, Evariki Thalavanchadu ends up as a Slow yet Intense Emotional movie.

Bottom lineEvariki Thalavanchadu (ET) - Strong Emotions - Solid Performances - Slow Narration

Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
