When all this is going on, JP (Jayaram) who is a cruel businessman taking over the top companies by killing the CEOs now has his eye on Chakravarthy's company. How will Anand save the company from JD? How will Swamy fit into this setting? Who will Pranavi marry? Will Anand Stop JD and win over him? This forms the rest of the story.
Artiste Performances
Ravi Teja is impressive and gives an energetic performance throughout. He shows great variations in both the roles he plays and has done a terrific job. It is a feast for fans watching him back with his vintage stuff.
Sree Leela is beautiful and does a decent job. She dances superbly and matches the energy of Ravi Teja.
Sachin Khedekar and Tanikella Bharani are great in their roles and bring in the required emotional quotient into the story.
Jayaram as the baddie has done a neat job. Chirag Jani too does well.
Rao Ramesh and Hyper Aadi steal the show whenever they are onscreen. The one-liners and punches have worked out big time and all their episodes are hilarious.
The rest of the cast are OK and have done their part.

Analysis
Right from the trailers, songs, and promotional material we can understand that Dhamaka is an out-and-out Ravi Teja's show and it delivers what it said. Right from the word go, it's Ravi Teja's energy that keeps you hooked to the screens. We can see what we have been missing in Ravi Teja from the past few movies.
The movie starts establishing the core point and then introduces two characters of Ravi Teja. Director made sure that there is Ravi Teja mark entertainment throughout the movie.
The scenes between the lead pair are good. Rao Ramesh and Hyper Adi's track is one of the major highlights of the movie. They evoke superb laughs on screen. There is an episode featuring a scene from Indra. It is presented humorously.
All songs are picturized beautifully on screen and the lead pair make it even more amazing with their energy. Most of the first half is filled with fun, family, and love scenes between the lead pair. As the movie gets to the pre-Interval, the proceedings get serious.
The conflict point between JD and Chakravarthy is established well and brings the tension element into the narration. A major twist is revealed at the pre-interval point and Ravi Teja is stunning in this action episode. His mannerisms will surely be a treat for fans and are whistle-worthy. Director sets the right stage with an entertaining and interesting Interval Block for the second half.
The second half has a few issues. After an entertaining first half, the pacing drops in the second half. Though there is a roller coaster feel throughout the second half, the entertainment keeps you engaged. After menacingly introducing the villain in the first half, the graph drops and the thread becomes weak.
A scene involving Rao Ramesh and Ravi Teja in a musical discussion and a sequence in the pre-climax at the office may look odd but works with the masses. Apart from these, you won't get bored watching the movie. Though the Villain track becomes weak, the fun factor in the thread is utilized to generate good humor.
As the movie progresses towards the climax, the emotional quotient is bought into the proceedings which feel formulaic. After an emotional scene, the movie ends on a fun note.
Dialogues are well written as many one-liners and punches will make the audience blast into laughter. Editing is neat. The screenplay could have been better. Fight blocks are choreographed in a fan-pleasing way.
Music and BGM by Bheems are another major asset of the movie. They are foot-tapping and Mass scenes are excellently elevated by the BGM. Visuals by Karthik are top-notch. Production values are rich and bring a lavish look to the movie.
Prasanna's story and screenplay are good but could have been better as the proceedings get predictable towards the end.
Trinadha Rao Nakkina has focused on bringing back the vintage energy and utilizing Ravi Teja in every aspect and he completely succeeds. He presents Ravi Teja in a Mass and entertaining avatar which is a treat for fans and moviegoers.
(My) Final Word
Ravi Teja is known for his energy and mass performance. With his previous flicks missing on that majorly, audiences are waiting to see him back into his vintage stuff and Dhamaka offers that. Keeping aside the predictable storyline and pacing issues in the second half, the movie doesn't fail in providing Mass Maharaja mark entertainment and energy throughout. On a Whole, Dhamaka ends up as an Enjoyable Mass Entertainer.
Bottomline: Dhamaka - Mass Maharaja's Mass Comeback!
Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
