Story
Siddhu (Kalyan Ram) is a happy-go guy who handles his family business. He comes to know about the Doppelgangers concept and tries to find his Doppelganger on the Get Doppel website. He finds a match and calls his Doppelganger Manjunath (Kalyan Ram) who is current in Goa. They are excited to talk to eachother and plan to meet when Manju visits Hyderabad. After sometime, Siddhu gets a call from Micheal (Kalyan Ram), another Doppelganger. Siddhu gets excited that he found 2 of his Doppelgangers and tells his plan about meeting in Hyderabad. Micheal insists Siddhu that they should go to Goa and meet there immediately. Three of them meet at Goa and celebrate their Doppelganger holida. As the story progresses, we come to know that Micheal's actual name is Bippin Roy, and NIA is on a hunt for him. Who is Bippin Roy? Will Siddhu and Manju know the Truth? What happens next? This forms the rest of the story

Artiste Performances
Kalyan Ram steals the show with his terrific performance. He plays all the 3 characters with conviction. He is energectic as Siddhu, subdued as Manju and Menancing as Michael and he carries 3 different shades at his best and carries the whole movie on his shoulders. He is amazing in all the 3 roles.

Ashika is beautiful and brings the glamour to screens. She gives a decent performance.

Brahmaji get a crucial role and he plays it with ease. He evokes few laughs and gives a good performance. Rest of the cast have done their part.

Analysis
Kalyan ram has been coming up with unique concepts in his previous movies. Lucid dreaming concept in 118, the Time Travel concept in Bimbisara and now the Doppelganger concept in Amigos.

The basic idea is an interesting one to explore. The movie starts off by introducing Siddhu's character. The director sets the stage by establishing Siddhu's family and love track.

Then the Doppelganger angle is brought into the proceedings which is presented in a convincing way. The scene where the three Doppelgangers meet for the first time is excellently shot.

Their characters, the Bonding between them and their closeness is established in one song. Especially the Thread between Manju and Siddhu, which carries the emotional connect of the movie.

The episode where Manju and Michael help Siddhu win his love is shown superbly. The love track too feels fresh and is enjoyable.

The whole first half will give the audience a roller coaster feeling. There are moments that give you entertainment and engage you and there are moments that are flat and might make the audience feel a bit bored

The interest factor starts picking up when the Truth about Michael's character is revealed. From here till the Interval bang the Screenplay is racy. NIA trying the catch Michael and he using his Doppelgangers to escape makes it an excellent interval bang setting stage for a thrilling second half.

The second half is more Engaging than the first half as it has got racy narration and thrilling moments. There is a tension factor that is carried till the end which keeps the audience hooked to the screens.

Enno Rathrulosthayi Gani is a treat to watch. Experiencing a classic song of Balakrishna with enhanced sound and music, which is one of my favourites too is amazing.

Director has brilliantly used a food allergy angle to reveal a twist in the second half. There are certain moments like this in the whole movie which will surely impress the audience.

Climax is a bit dragged. Though there is a tension factor, it feels long and bores the audience a bit. The movie ends with a hint of a sequel.

Dialogues are OK. Production values are an added asset. They are lavish. The visuals are excellent. Songs and BGM by Ghibran work in favour of the movie. Editing could have been better.

Director picked a unique concept to explore and keeps the audience engaged to an extent. An even more arresting screenplay and narration could have made things even better.

(MY) Final Word
The plot point is quite unique and interesting. The director succeeds in introducing the characters, their stories and the emotions between them but the narration plays a spoilsport here. Apart from uneven pacing and flat narration at times, Amigos ends up as a passable thriller that can be watched for Kalyan Ram's performance.

Bottom-line: "Amigos" - Kalyan Ram's show all the way! A Different and Decent Thriller.

Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
