Artiste Performance
Varun Tej has done an exceptional job. His attitude and Massy look are treat to watch on screen. An actor who is known for class roles like Fidaa and F2, seeing his intense acting, performance in some scenes will completely surprise you. There are few shots where we see Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Attitude in him which was a treat to watch.

Atharvaa did very well. He looks apt for his role and carried it throughout neatly. He has done a very good job in few crucial scenes. Mrinalini looks cute and brings glamour to screen in first half. The love track between him and the heroine have come out well.

Satya, Brahmaji, Prabhas Seenu are one of the main plus point to the film. The comedy generated by these will just make you burst out laughing. Every comedy scene in the movie has worked out very well.

Pooja Hedge has got very limited role and comes in the second half of the movie. The whole time she is there she gives the required glamour to the movie. Rest of the cast have done the required.

Plus Points
Varun Tej's Mass act
Storyline
Interval Block
Comedy Sequences
Background Score

Drawbacks (Which I Felt)
Dragged a bit in second half

Analysis
Harish Shankar has a special way of treating subjects with Mass angle. We have seen it with Mirapakay, Gabbar singh and Now Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Valmiki). He tried to show Varun Tej in a complete different way and showcased him as a Mass hero in which he completely succeeded. He made some changes which attract the masses and the normal audience.

Varun Tej as Gaddalakonda Ganesh has done a fantastic job. He perfectly looks as a gangster. Seeing his attire, his swag, his body language, everything what he does from beginning till end you will feel no one would have done this role with such perfection other than him.

First half starts on an interesting note. The pace is maintained very well. Waka Waka song is feast for masses. Atharvaa trying to get information from two important people of Ganesh's group about Ganesh has been showcased in a hilarious way.

Satya has done an excellent job. The expressions he gives when he hears the word "Second hero" and the bar scene with one of the gang member of Ganesh are very funny and came out excellently. The episode of Prabhas seenu and Satya featuring the "Sagara Sangamam" VCD will make you laugh out loud.

First half runs like this with comedy sequences and few crucial scenes that take the story forward. The interval bang is power packed as Gaddalakonda Ganesh comes to know about Atharvaa and his friend Satya.

Second half too starts on an interesting note. The flashback episode is engaging too. The love track between Pooja hegde and Varun Tej is neat. The retro song "Yelluvachi Godaramma" was shot beautifully.

After the flashback episode we feel a little drag in the screenplay but no worries, Here comes the Harish Shankar mark comedy episode. The comedy track of Brahmaji and Ganesh gang will be a hilarious ride. Brahmaji and Satya duo evoke few laughs here.

From here the film regains its pace with some very good emotional scenes. The realization scenes of both Abhi and Ganesh leave a very good impact. The climax part of the film has been handled pretty neatly. The film concludes on a fun note with two superb cameos.

(MY) Final Word
As Everyone knows it's an Official remake of Karthik Subbaraj's "Jigarthanda", For those who saw the original might feel this movie was a little dragged but will be satisfying watch as it's a very faithful remake though he made few changes here and there to meet the telugu nativity. For those who haven't watched the original, this movie definitely impresses. All taken, This movie is a Pakka Paisa vasool entertainer.

Bottom line: "Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Valmiki)" - Engaging Mass Entertainer

Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
