Siddarth is a software Engineer and Aditya is a theif (Both roles are played by Ram Pothineni). Siddharth falls in love with Mahima (Malavika Sharma). Twist in the tale arises when Siddarth gets arrested as main accused for a murder with strong evidence. At the same time police come to know about Aditya too. Who attempted the murder? How will Police Investigate this? Is there any connection between Siddharth and Aditya? This forms the rest of the Story.
Artiste Performances
Ram delivers great performance. He shows proper variations and is excellent in both the roles. He shoulder the movie and leads it from front.
Malavika Sharma looks cute and does her part well. Nivetha Pethuraju as a police officer is good. Amrutha Iyer also performs to the mark in her limited screen time.
Samapth and Posani are decent in their roles. Vennela Kishore and Satya Evoke few laughs. Rest of the Cast are OK.
Plus Points
Ram's Performance
Pre Interval Episode

Logics go missing at places
Analysis
RED starts of with a love track between Siddharth and Mahima. Then the narrative shifts to showing life of Aditya. First Half of the Movie keeps oscillating between these two characters lives. Pace is a bit slow but you will be entertained with few comedy scenes and Ram's Excellent performance as Aditya.
Pre Interval episodes is the point where movie starts getting interesting. Actual story opens up here and the Interval Bang comes in taking the movie into a Thriller mode.
Second half is excellent. You will be engaged throughout with decent investigation and good twists. Few logics go missing which could have been avoided.
Emotional Quotient comes in second half and few dialogues are really good. Pre Climax Twist Reveal is executed well and Movie ends on an emotional note.
Visuals are Impressive. Editing is Ok. Manisharma's music is good. Background score is Terrific as it elevates the movie excellently.
(MY) Final Word
RED is an official remake of Arun Vijay's 'Thadam'. Director takes the core idea from the original and tries to narrate it with his touch but the slow pace played a spoilsport here. A Little racy narration could have made the movie Interesting. Leaving few dull moments in first half, this movie has its moments and will engage you. On a Whole, RED ends up as a One time watch.
Bottomline: RED - Decent Crime Thriller
Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression on a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
