Artiste Performances
John Abraham is great as Arjun Shergill. He emotes superbly and carries whole movie on his shoulders. He delivers an impressive performance.
Both Jacqueline and Rakul preet are very good looking and Though their screen times are less, they make their presence felt with their good performances.
Prakash Raj is excellent in his role. Ratna Patak as Arjun's mother brings some emotional depth to the proceedings. Rest of the cast have done their part

Analysis
Movie start with Introducing Arjun's character and his Army Mission. Whole sequence is shot in an engaging way. After the mission, Ayesha is introduced and the Love track between the leads is shown briefly.
After the terrorist attack, till Subramanyam approaches Arjun movie runs on a slow pace. Once Arjun is called onto Super Soldier Program, movie is on track and in right pace.
The Operation, Training and Arjun getting used to the software is shown in an interesting and entertaining way.
Pre - Interval Episodes is one of the main highlights of the movie. Terrorists Attack Parliament taking PM, other ministers and people present in Parliament hostage. Interval bang is superbly given as Arjun reaches the parliament to see it covered in smoke and fire here and there, setting a stage for action packed second half.
Second half is racy and engaging than first half. Terrorists make their demands and Arjun sneaks into parliament and starts his mission to save PM and other people held hostage by Killing the Terrorists.
Arjun sneaking in, killing few terrorists and communicating the information and updates to the war room set by government are superbly presented.
Movie mainly suffers with 3 problems. One is lack of proper drama. Though there are decent amount of emotions sprinkled in the movie, a set of audiences might feel disconnected at times as there is no strong drama. Even the terrorist holding PM hostage isn't shown in an impactful way where you feel there is a need to save him as soon as possible.
Second is character development. Almost every character is left under developed except for Arjun and couple of characters. Third one is shades of Hollywood movies. A couple of scenes are exactly taken from "Mission Impossible" series and the whole second half gives you "Olympus has Fallen" memories. Even few frames resembles the same from those movies. This might pull a set of audiences out of the experience.
Last 30 Minutes is major highlight of the movie. An Excellent action sequence amplified with terrific BGM followed by amazing bike chase makes it an awesome climax. It almost gives a video game feel which works out extremely well. This surely will be one of the best action episodes in recent times.
Editing is fine. Dialgoues are good. Visuals are another major asset to the movie. Cameramen carried the mood and maintained the tone of movie throughout.
Songs are Ok but Background score is very impressive. Especially during action scenes, BGM will take them to another level.
(MY) Final Word
Super Soldier related subject itself is an interesting idea to work on. Lakshya Raj Anand has done a fabulous job, handling the subject with right amounts of thrills and action. Adding a little more drama and developing characters would have made things a little more better. Apart from that, Attack ends up as an Intriguing flick.
Bottomline: Riveting "Attack"
Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression on a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
