As everyone knows this movie is based on the life of the Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, A Freedom fighter from Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Movie starts on a very interesting note which is very fan pleasing. A troop of soldiers are scared seeing many troops of Britishers and they decide to quit the war. Here come Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai (Anuskha Shetty) saying this war is for our mother land, For the freedom from the Britishers started by Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi) and tells them the greatest war fought by him. Who is Narasimha Reddy? What made him fight for freedom? Will he save thousands of people from the Britishers? This forms the rest of the story.

Artiste Performance
Megastar Chiranjeevi delivers one of the best and very powerful performance. His intense act will completely leave you in awe. The way he carried the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is simply Superb.

Amitabh Bachchan plays an extended cameo as Guru Gosayi Venkanna. He looks very good in the role. He shows his experience and seniority in every scene he is in.

Both the Female stars Nayanathara and Tamanna get a very different role which has a lot of scope to showcase their performance. Nayanthara delivers her best.
Tamannah is stunning. This movie shows her true performance as an actress. She definitely surprises and amazes you with magnificent performance.

Kiccha Sudeepa gives yet another dashing performance. Vijay Sethupathi too has played an extended cameo role in which he has given an impressive performance. Jagapathi babu is very good too.

Every one in the movie has done a great work.

Analysis
First of all, Kudos to the Producer of the movie - Ramcharan. The Production values of the movies are very lavish. You can feel the Grandeur in every frame and visuals of Syeraa.

Star cast in the movie is not at all wasted. Each and every one had performed very well. Director Surender Reddy has done an excellent work by utilizing everyone rightly.

First half starts with fan pleasing moments introducing the title character. From there the speed drops a bit. Few scenes are dragged. The narration goes slow as the director tries to establish the problems and key characters involved. Till the pre interval the pace of the movie is like a roller coaster. It goes up and down.

The Thread between Chiranjeevi - Nayanthara and Chiranjeevu-Tamannah are handled in a mature way. Both the threads has the required depth and holds the emotional quotient of the movie.

Movie picks up in the Pre interval sequence where Narasimha Reddy decides to take on Britishers. The pre interval episodes were handled very well. After the pre interval episode there comes a sequence where the Britisher kills few people. From this point till the interval the screenplay is awesome. Interval Bang will give you Goosebumps.

Second half feels very good compared to first half as it is filled with Action sequences and Whistle worthy moments. Vijay Sethupathi is introduced in second half. There are few scenes in second half too that feel a bit dragged.

The title track is a treat to watch on screen. Tamannah leaves you amazed with her magnificent act in this song. Both Nayanthara and Tamannah have given strong performances in this song.

Director didn't rush in wrapping up the characters. Every character is given a justifying end. Especially Tamannah's character ends on an emotional yet in a powerful way. Even Narasimha Reddy's Character is ended with a Bang giving us a high and leaving us with goosembumps.

Rathnavelu does a brilliant job with his camera work. Every frame and scene in the movie are lavishly and beautifully captured. Even the Visual effects of the movie are outstanding. Few scenes which are complete depend on Visual effects have come out great.

Dialogues of the movie play yet another key part. Few dialogues create a very strong impact. There is one scene where Narasimha Reddy visits the British People to warn them. The dialogues in this scene will give you goosebumps. There are many more scenes and dialogues like this.

All the action sequences are executed terrifically. With some superb scenes in second half the movie comes to an end on an emotional note leaving a powerful impact.

(MY) Final Word
Syeraa is Chiranjeevi's and Ram charan's dream project. Producer seems to have done their best in creating a grandeur movie of a freedom fighter. It is evident in every frame. One feels the as Syeraa is a Periodic movie about a freedom fighter, There will only be war, violence etc. but director has added every element to the movie that attracts all set of audience. He even added many fan moments that are whistle worthy. Even the emotional connect isn't missed. He has balanced all the elements. But you may feel the movie is dragged at places in both first and second half. But leaving that apart Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, both the movie and Sublime performance from Megastar will definitely impress you.

Bottom line: Syeraa Narasimha Reddy - Story of a Freedom fighter told Powerfully.

Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
