Analysis
Hero promised a thrilling ride filled with lots of fun blended in it from its promos and trailers and it lives up to that.
Movie starts of with a stylish introduction of "Hero" Ashok galla. Production values and background score are terrific. After an excellent introduction, movie moves to introducing other key characters and establishing Arjun's dream to become a hero and his trails for that.
First half of the movie is very entertaining with excellent comedy and couple of songs that are shot well. The love track too looks good.
Proceedings pace up when Arjun receives the courier. From here the movie runs on an excellent speed. It gives you thrills with comedy blended in right doses. Everything builds up giving a thrilling and interesting Interval bang.
Second half starts with the same interest but the pacing gets disturbed as the back stories come into play. It may look silly but it works if you watch it not looking for logic.
Second half too keeps you arrested to screens with fun and action. Climax is where the movie feels a bit loud and hasty but the comedy saves it to an extent making it an enjoyable watch.
Sriram Adittya manages to introduce debutant Ashok galla blending elements that satisfy all sections audience with his style of story telling and succeeds. Dialogues are good.
Ghibran does a fantastic job with both Music and Background score. Lavish production values are an added advantage to the movie. Editing is fine. Camera work by Sameer Reddy is top notch.
(MY) Final Word
Hero gives us an interesting thriller ride packed with good entertainment. It may feel silly and loud at times but the movie manages to overshadow that with its comedy and thrills. On a whole, Hero ends up as an Entertaining Thriller.
Bottomline: "Hero" - Funtastic Entertainer
