Artiste Performance
Vishal gives a great performance. As a Military Officer he looks fit and perfect. He does an excellent work in all action sequences.

Tamannah does a great job. Thanks to Surender Reddy for showing her differently in Sye raa. This is letting directors to give her roles that have much scope to perform.

Aishwarya Lekhmsi looks good. She performed well in her limited screen space. Akanksha Puri in negative role performed well.

Kabir Duhan Singh as Antagonist has delivered a very good performance. Rest of the cast are OK

Analysis
Right from the trailer, Action is all about loads of Action sequences, thrills and chases. Movie delivers that and nothing else. Plot line is good. Action sequences are amazing. But problem is they get dragged a bit to much.

First half starts with a breath taking action sequence. This is great and shot very well. Tamannah looks stunning in this episode. After this Movie dips.

Proceedings are slow. Scenes involving Politics, Love track come and narration feels flat. Even two three comedy scenes doesn't create any impact.

Till Pre interval, Scenes are the same. Movie picks up with a Bomb blast in Pre interval episode. From here till interval, The movie goes on a racy note.

Interval bang is amazing setting the stage for an action packed second half.

Second half is full of action and chase sequences. There is nothing much in second half. Action sequences are shot terrifically, but the problem is they are dragged making you may feel it is a bit too much.

Last 30 mins of the movie is the major plus. Everything about that Pre Climax and Climax is awesome. Thrilling Moments, Action and chase episode, Suspense are mainted very well through out.

Though Music director disappoints with songs, he gives an extraordinary BGM during key scenes and elevates the movie. Production Values are good. Cinematography is neat.

(MY) Final Word
Action is true to its title. Terrific Action sequences, thrilling moments and great chasing episodes. But with all this you feel the basic plotline is being overshadowed. Leaving that, If you are an action movie lover which is a complete package of high octane chase and action sequences, This much is a Decent watch for you and definitely a One time watch for movie lovers.

Bottomline: Action - Impresses only with it

Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
