Analysis
Hero has a defect. Heroine and her family are completely against to that. After falling in love with heroine, Hero tries his best to cover up his defect but at some point of time he is caught and after a fight he convinces the family and wins his love. This trend was started by Maruthi with "Bhale Bhale Magadivoy". Following the same format many movies like " Manhubhavudu" with OCD and "Rajugadu" with him stealing things without knowing have come.
Now Director Sekhar Reddy has come up with the same format but with a different concept. Hero has a fatal alcoholic disorder. If he doesn't drink 90ML of alcohol 3 times a day, he will die. This point is established well.
What works in the movie is the comedy. Comedy scenes are very nice in the movie. Single liners and punch dialogues too create an impact and works well with masses.
Till Interval, movie runs on a hilarious note. Interval bang is good. All fights are neat.
Second half has a problem. Everyone will have a thought bothering them why is hero not saying about his problem to neither heroine nor her family. Even the scenes coming don't have a proper connection. There are few scenes in second half that may bore you
Pre Climax song could have been cut as it becomes a speed breaker to the flow. Climax sequence is handled well with a mix of action, emotion and a love scene. This scenes had come out very well and the movie ends on a Hilarious note.
Songs are shot well. Music and Background score by Anup Rubens good. Camera work is great. Editing could have been better as the movie needs nearly 10 minutes of trimming.
(MY) Final Word
90ML is a Commercial Entertainer that works more with the masses. It's a Package of good Action, nice Emotions, Romance and good comedy. Leaving few boring scenes here and there, this movie will entertain you to a decent level. On a whole, 90ML ends up as a Watchable Youthful Entertainer
Bottomline: 90ML - Masses will have fun with Ninety, Rest will have it with Tea
Note: This is my take on the movie. That is why I am not rating the movie. I respect each and every movie. Making people read my review and influencing them to form an impression of a movie before watching the movie is never my intention. I am a Movie lover too. This is just to express my view on the movie. 😊
