Story
Jayasuda, a Businesswomen adopts a badly wounded person after saving him from an accident. She hands over all the business to him and Arjun Prasad (Balakrishna) becomes the chairman of the company. While dealing with few projects he comes across a UP project file. When he starts working on it Jayasudha refuses him to go ahead with the project as she was threatened not to do project there long back. Arjun decides take up that project and starts pooja ceremony. The people in that area after seeing Arjun call him Dharma. Who is Dharma? What is the story behind all this? This forms Ruler's story

Artiste Performances
Balakrishna looks awesome. His new look is good. He rocks it with his dialogue delivery and mannerisms. His look in second half could have been taken care as the hair style is bad. Apart from that he gives his usual best and impresses fans with his new dance moves and performance.
Female leads Sonal Chauhan and Vedhika look beautiful and get glamour to the screen. Sonal Chauhan is stylish. Vedhika is great with her performance. Bhumika too does good in her limited screen space.
Rest of the cast are Ok.

Analysis
Movie starts well with Balakrishna getting saved by Jayasudha and adopting him. First half has good fan moments. Till interval there is good entertainment and Action.
Interval episode is a highlight. Balakrishna's Dialogues followed by a powerful fight scene is terrifically shot.
After interval the movie loses its track for a while. Few unwanted scenes that disturb the flow. Balakrishna's look in the second half is not good. This could have been taken care to make things a bit better.
Second half is more concentrated on emotions. As the movie proceeds things start getting better maintaining the emotional connect. After two action episodes in Pre climax and climax, Movie comes to an end.
Visuals are good. Editing is could have been much better. Songs are Ok, BGM feels a bit loud.

After "Jai Simha", KS Ravikumar - Balakrishna combo is back with another action entertainer. First half is filled with good entertainment and fan moments and the second half is a roller coaster ride. Pace graphs keeps going up and down. Apart from that, this movie is a decent watch. On a Whole, Ruler ends up as a One time watchable action entertainer.
